This Saturday, I got the incredible experience to play at the first ever Mariner Music Fest at the Metropolitan Kitchen and Lounge. The event was a fundraiser for the Avergan Foundation, which provides financial support for children on the autism spectrum in Anne Arundel County.
My morning started off with an early bird flight from Boston, MA. I found myself jumping onto a bus to the airport at 4:30 a.m. (insane, I know), so that I could get back home for the show.
And of course, since I was back in Annapolis, I just HAD to get sushi –and in case you’re curious Da Bomb Roll from Ziki is DA BOMB.
It was really inspiring to see how many people came out to support not only myself and the other local musicians, but also all the families who rely on this nonprofit organization. For anyone who wasn’t able to come, but still would like to make donations, you can do so at Avergen Foundation.
Thanks so much for the continued support!
Peace and love,
